The features and design of the System series has again raised the bar for ESUs. They allow you to tailor to your speciality. New, state-of-the art generators feature proprietary Energy Synchronous Processing Technology. The technology delivers a continuous synchronisation of current and voltage in all operational modes. Advanced Digital Signal architecture enables the system to sample current and voltage over 450,000 times per second and adjusts the output accordingly to deliver consistent tissue effect. The System series feature easy to use speciality modes including general mode, fluids mode, laparoscopic mode, pulse cut mode, pulse coag mode and multiple bipolar modes. The programmable memory settings make set-up quick and easy with the push of a button. The units allow surgeon to adjust power settings from the surgical field with a standard ES pencil. Dual pencils and illuminates consoles are a standard feature. JHSOnline is extremely pleased to announce our appointment as the exclusive distributor in the Caribbean for the a leading Quality line of x-ray film processors and chemical mixers. They manufacture many of their units for one of the world's largest companies in the x-ray film/processor business. The first installation of a processor and mixer is planned later this month. With two other units to be installed a few weeks after that. This addition to our product line further extends our offering to our radiology clients. We will be adding to this line later this month when we will be introducing chemicals (developer/fixer) for x-ray film processing along with x-ray film screens and cassettes. CPAP patients you can now get all your hardware supplies from us. We offer a comprehensive range of Respironics CPAP, BiPAP, nasal and face masks. Our masks are designed to fit other brand units so you don't have to search any further. Consider us your source for all your CPAP/BiPAP needs. There will be workshops on CPAP for both patients and medical personnel planned for later in the year so please contact us and asked to be notified of the dates.

The BHC A&E and UHWI Newborn have stepped up their facilities with the help of a local service organisation. They received multiparameter Analogic Lifegard vital signs monitors with carts, Medix Econoneb hospital nebulizers, wall diagnostic sets, a COSMO capnograph with digital pulse oximeter, handheld digital Novametrix pulse oximeters, GreenSpec fiber optic laryngoscopes, ASENA syringe pumps, Medix phototherapy lights, a Mortara ELI 250ij with cart and additional items. Training of BHC medical staff took place yesterday and will continue over the next few weeks.

Well the installation and testing of the sleep study unit was completed and had it's first two patients. All went very smoothly, and the staff are extremely happy with the user interface and ease of operation. Additional equipment are to be added by September to include CPAP. Patient video capture/monitoring is exceptional. Offering high, colour detail, and IR black and white at night. The facility is "first world standard", ensuring patient comfort. The grand opening is planned within the next few weeks.
